Our compliments to the ASPE Chapter 45 on a very informative dinner program last night. Five employees from our firm attended and each one of us gained a great deal of knowledge from the ASPE's panel of expert guest speakers (Craig Norsen - Seneca Group, Jack Avery - Sellen Construction, Brad Pease - LEED Consultant, Les Gerstmann - BLRB Architects, & Peter Dobrovolny - City of Seattle). We were also delighted to learn that the use of our services (bxwa.com) is being used by many of our customers to earn additional point awards on their LEED projects, while saving money! This correlates with our recent observations that many of Public Agency and General Contractor are trending towards a 100% paperless distribution of their design/bid/construction documents using our services. This truly is an advantage for those wishing to embrace a "green" method for distribution of their documents since fewer resources are consumed (paper, gas, travel, time & CO2 emissions), increased project exposure is obtained, and the end user (bidders) are provided with easy to access, easy to use, and fully-functional on-line project bid documents.
