After several years working in various field capacities I joined PCL in 1979 as an Estimator in their District office in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. In 1993, shortly after PCL opened an office in Seattle I helped them with cold weather construction techniques to bid a project in Alaska. A short while later I was asked to transfer to Seattle and have been working here since May 1994.

Last year, 2009, I moved into the position of Construction Risk manager.
