TJ spent half her life and career in British Columbia pursuing Public Health Inspection and Environmental Engineering. After returning to the U.S., TJ served as a Contract Administrator for 3 years before enrolling in the University of Washington's CM program. She is currently in her 4th year as a commercial estimator for Absher Construction Company.

In addition, TJ works as a teaching assistant with the UW CM program, and is a member of Toastmasters. She says, "I find the ASPE organization embraces the aspects of things important and fundamental to the development of construction estimating. I'm looking forward to CPE status one day as well as promoting opportunities for the chapter."

As chapter president, TJ will preside at meetings, facilitate chapter resources and report to National with activity and finacial updates. She directly supports the committee chair for the finance and secretary role.
